'It doesn't matter to me one bit, to be honest'

Mayo utility player Keith Higgins admits that he doesn't mind where he plays for the county.

Higgins has been deployed in a number of positions from defence to attack and although some players may be annoyed not to have a settled position, the former All-Star defender is just glad to be in the starting XV.

"It doesn't matter to me one bit, to be honest. I've said it to the boss, I'm happy to play anywhere. With the panel we have now, any jersey you get from one to fifteen, you're happy with," Higgins told the Western People.

"I played the Kerry game in the league at corner back, and I've had a few sessions training with the backs, so it doesn't take long to get back into it.

"When you're at corner back, you are more worried about the guy standing beside you, stopping him getting the ball and scoring, whereas as a forward you're trying to win the ball yourself, picking up breaking ball and then worrying about the wing back going forward. So there's a lot more to think about, it's a lot more open."
