Naomh Fionnbarra club notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 14th June. The winning numbers were 12, 14, 25 & 26.  There was 1 match 3 winner Nora Byrne, c/o Mick Byrne who won €150.  Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000.  Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated. 

Our Intermediate mens team play Oliver Plunketts in the Div 2 League on Tuesday 20th June at 8pm in John Markey Park, Ballygassan.  Hopefuly the lads can continue their good start to the League.
 

Naomh Fionnbarra Junior team were beaten in the Division 4 League recently by Newtown Blues.  A lot of young player played in the game and they acquitted themselves well.  The lads will play St. Marys Ardee in the Div 4 League on Friday 23rd June at 8pm in John Markey Park, Ballygassan.


Best of luck to Kieran Lenihan, Hugh Osborne and William Woods who are on the Louth Junior panel for their Leinster Junior Championship Final v Meath in the Croke Park on Sunday 25th June at 2pm.  Up Louth.

During the week Davy Dalton, former Kildare player and All Star gave a coaching session to our U13/14 team.  The training was well attanded and it was good for the lads to learn from a former county player.  Many thanks to Davy for giving up some of his spare time to coach the team from everyone at the club.

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. & St. Anne's Camogie Club are hosting a Country Night with Mike Denver in the Carrickdale Hotel on Friday 28th July - Doors Open at 9:30pm.  Tickets are on sale now, priced at €20.00. Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies would like to thank all who supported their church gate collection so generously last weekend.


The Louth Poc Fada finals will take place on Annaverna Mountain, Ravensdale on Wednesday 21st June.  4 Categories will run as in previous years: Snr Hurling, Snr Camogie, U16 Hurling & U16 Camogie, with the shorter 2.5km course being used by all categories. Registration will begin at 6pm with the first category heading out at approx. 6.20pm

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. are hosting a Kellogs GAA Cúl Football and Hurling Camp again this year from Monday 31st July and Friday 4th August.
