Division 2: We got our first win on Sunday with a hard fought four point victory over the Oliver Plunketts in Drogheda. It was great to get off the mark in the league and the lads deserved the win for the effort they put in. There are still plenty of games to be played and hopefully we can kick on from here. The league leaders Hunterstown visit the Grove on Friday evening throw in 7.15pm.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 26th April at 8.00pm, jackpot €3,100 in 48 numbers.

 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Show Bud, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

 

Easter Sunday: On behalf of the club and underage committee we would like to thank anyone who helped out in any way and attended our fundraising disco on Easter Sunday night, a good success and a great night, a big thank you to all.

 

An Gaeltacht: Scholarships for Coláiste Bhríde, Rann Na Feirste for under 14 and under 16 are now available. An Coiste Chondae is sponsoring a limited number of scholarships, with the value of €700 for each full-scholarship and €350 for each half scholarship. Application forms must be received by Saturday May 6th and assessment of candidates will be on Saturday 13th May in Darver commencing at 9am. Candidates must be active paid-up members of the GAA and permission of parent/guardian is necessary. Application forms can be obtained from your club secretary.
