Division 6: Our division six league team were in action last Sunday morning and started the campaign with a good win. Once again we had a mixture of young and not so young on the field and fair play to the lads they got the job done. Next game in two weeks away to the westerns.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 22nd March at 8.00pm, jackpot €2,600 in 48 numbers.

40: Congratulations to O'Connell's player Stephen Hoey who celebrated his 40th birthday over the weekend.

Easter Camps: There are two Easter Camps in the county this year, one in Dowdallshill and the other in the Newtown Blues. Both are three day camps from 18th to 20th April from 10am to 2.00pm for boys and girls aged 6-12. The fee is €20 and there will be qualified coaches, camp includes fun games, skill challenge and mini leagues. Children should bring suitable gear for wet weather, football boots, gumshield, plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. Book online at http://louthcandg.eventbrite.com/ . Places are limited with Online Registration ending on Thursday 13th April at 12 noon.

Coaches: Louth GAA Coaching & Games are looking for coaches for the Louth GAA Kellogg's Cúl Camps which will be taking place at various venues throughout the county this summer. They are looking for both lead coaches (18 years +) and assistant coaches (16/17 year olds).  Coaches on the Kellogg's Cúl Camps should have at least completed a GAA Foundation Award and Code of Best Practice and be Garda Vetted whilst undertaking compulsory Cúl Camp Coaches training as part of the programme. Those that have coached with us before need to resubmit all the relevant details again!! Standard Tax and PRSI rules will apply to all coaches. Applicants can download the application form from the county website.  Application forms should be returned to [email protected] or posted to Francie McMullen, Louth GAA Centre of Excellence, Darver, Readypenny, Co. Louth. Closing date for all applications is Friday 5th May - Late applications or applications that do not meet the minimum criteria will not be accepted under any circumstances.
