Naomh Fionnbarra club notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 12th October. The winning numbers were 1, 4, 18 & 19. There were 3 match 3 winners Michael Doyle, Togher, Shirley Reynolds, Tullydonnell and Maureen Carroll, An Rian Annagassan who won €50 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot staying at €10,000 and the second Reserve jackpot rising to €2,550.  Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

 

Hard luck to Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-16s who lost to Roche Emmets in the Division 3 League Final on a score of 1-13 (16) to 3-5 (14) on Wednesday 12th October.

 

Well done to the Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-18's who avenged their recent Championship Final loss and beat O'Connells/Stabannon Parnells/John Mitchells in the U-18 Division 3A League Semi Final on a score of 1-10(13) to 1-7(10) on Sunday 16th October in the Grove Castlebellingham.  The lads now play Glen Emmets in the Final in Darver time to be confirmed.

 

Well done also to the Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-13's who beat Na Piarsaigh/Dowdallshill in the U-13 Division 3B League Semi Final on a score of 6-13(31) to 0-6(6) on Sunday 16th Octoberat John Markey Park.  The lads now play St. Josephs in the Final on Wednesday 19th October in Darver at 7pm.

 

The Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-21's lost to St. Patricks in the 1st Round of the U-21 Championship on a score of 1-6(9) to 7-14(35)  on Friday 14th October at Páirc Eamon, Lordship.

 

The U-15 team are also through to the Division 3A League Semi Final v O'Raghallaigh on Sunday 23rd October at 3pm in John Markey Park.

 

Congratulations to Naomh Fionnbarra/Dreadnots U-18 girls team on their first win in the minor league against the Mary's this morning. The final score was 3-10 to 3-2. Well done to all involved.

Development:  Work continues on the upgrade of the flood lights on the existing field and the walking/running track around the field.
