Championship: We bowed out of the senior championship last Sunday night with an eight point loss to Newtown Blues. That puts us in a relegation playoff with the O'Raghallaighs where the winner stays in the senior championship and the loser will play the loser of the other relegation playoff between Cooley Kickhams and either St. Patricks or Kilkerley Emmets to see who goes down to the intermediate grade. The team did not get off to the best start on Sunday but got back into the game and had the lead by three points at half time. But the Blues got off to a great start in the second half and scored 1-6 without reply and we never looked like getting back in the game although the chances were there but weren't taken. No football over the weekend as it is holiday time, last division one league game away to Dreadnots due to be played 7th August at 5pm.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 27th July at 8.00pm, jackpot €1,100 in 48 numbers. Congratulations to the Castlebellingham lady who won our previous jackpot of €4,900.

 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Bank Holiday Monday 1st August in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Curtis McGee, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

 

Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.
