Division 1: We made another come back last Friday night from seven points down to claim a sweet one point victory over the county champions St. Patricks. The lads must be commended for their efforts especially in the last two games, they have showed some guts and are willing to stand up for each other and have all for one and one for all attitudes at the moment. Well done to all involved and let's keep this run going, we play the Blues in Drogheda next Saturday at 7pm.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 18th May at 8.00pm, jackpot €4,100 in 48 numbers.

 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 21st May in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by J&S Sound, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

 

Minor: Good luck to Wayne Kierans, Stuart Reynolds and the Louth Minor team this Saturday in the Leinster Championship against Laois in Drogheda at 3.00pm.

 

Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.

 

Cl Camps: The Kellogg's Cl camp will be in our club from 18/7/16 to 22/7/16 with supervisor Niamh Kirk 083-3653921; online booking for the 2016 the Cúl Camps is now open.

 

Coaches: Louth GAA Coaching & Games are looking for coaches for the Louth GAA Kellogg's Cúl Camps which will be taking place at various venues throughout the county this summer. We are looking for both lead coaches (18 years +) and assistant coaches (16/17 year olds).  Coaches on the Kellogg's Cúl Camps should have at least completed a GAA Foundation Award and Code of Best Practice and be Garda Vetted whilst undertaking compulsory Cúl Camp Coaches training in late June as part of the programme. Those that have coached with us before need to resubmit all the relevant details again!! Standard Tax and PRSI rules will apply to all coaches. In total there will be 31 camps in Louth this year and they commence on Monday 4th July and finish on Friday 19th August (total of Six weeks). People interested in coaching Gaelic Games and want to be part of the Louth GAA Summer Camps 2016 can download the application form from the county website.  Application forms should be returned to [email protected] or posted to Francie McMullen, Louth GAA Centre of Excellence, Darver, Readypenny, Co. Louth. Closing date for all applications is Friday 20th May.
