St Fechins Lá na gClubanna will take place on Sunday May 8th in Pairc Naomh Feichín. A 1916 Celebration and flag raising will be followed by a family fun day. There will be football and hurling skills competitions, Pella Tournaments, music, dancing, a Tasty Bake Competition and much more. We hope all our members past and present will be able to make it!
Juvenile training continues this week for all our underage football teams. Training takes place on Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30.
As the new season begins, this is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in coaching any of our juvenile teams, football, hurling or girls football. Those interested should contact Colm Mulholland on 0871239076.
Action continues on all fronts this week. On Wednesday the U16 Girls face Dreadnots/Naomh Fionbarra away in the league at 7pm.
On Thursday the U12 Girls face the Newtown Blues away at 7pm.
On Friday it is the turn of the U12 Boys who play Dundalk Gaels in Dundalk at 7.30pm.
The weekend sees a number of important matches at senior level.
On Friday the Senior Hurlers play in their first final this year. They face Mattock Rangers in the Special Hurling League decider in Darver at 7.30pm.
On Saturday the Senior Footballers will hope to bring their winning form from the last round when they face the O'Connells in Beaulieu at 7pm.
Underage action returns on Monday the 9th of May when the U16 boys face the Dreadnots at home at 7.30pm, while the U14 girls face the Geraldines away at 7pm.
The Senior Hurlers open the Special Hurling Championship on Tuesday when they face Mattock Rangers in Beaulieu at 7.30pm.
