Pictures are up on our Facebook and twitter pages and all the clubs visited in Louth are on the Kick for Kolkata Facebook page. Kevin will complete his challenge when he kicks the last point on St. Patrick's Day during the All Ireland club finals in Croke Park.

Jersey: The NEW 2016 Louth GAA Jersey is now available from O'Neill's and is available since last Friday 29th in local retail outlets.

Experimental Rules: The 'mark' (where a player cleanly catches a kicked ball) will be one of three experimental rules to be trialled in the Leinster minor football league, which gets underway next week. A maximum of three consecutive hand-passes will be permitted while there will be no back-passing to goalkeepers allowed. This competition is used by minor managers in the province to finalise their squads and to prepare for the championship. The rules are being trialled to encourage high-fielding and to curb hand-passing.

Added Time: Following a meeting of Ard Chomhairle, referees have been instructed that in the context of playing additional time, incidental and deliberate delays (per Rule 3.2, Official Guide, Part II) should include: 1. Introduction of Substitutes. 2. The use of Hawkeye (in Croke Park). 3. Any relevant delays caused by players travelling distances to take free kicks/pucks. From last weekend, time will now be added on as necessary for such delays.

Louth Ladies:  After last year's success in the All Ireland Junior Ladies Final, the Louth Ladies County Board are looking to extend and develop the massive underage talent in the county. They are searching for managers to take over their U14 and U12 County teams and with the massive explosion in numbers playing at both these levels, the potential is limitless. If you are interested in applying for either of these exciting opportunities, please apply by email outlining your experience to Stephen Sherlock, County Development Officer at [email protected].

Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.
