Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Annes Club Notes

November 09, 2015

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 4th November.  The winning numbers were 9, 14, 15, 17. There was 1 match 3 winner Noeleen Duffy, c/o Tommy Shevlin who won €100 each.  Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to  €5,350.   Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately our run in the Leinster Junior Football Championship came to an end on Sunday with defeat to St. Brigid's Kilashee on a scoreline of 0-11(11) to 2-4(10).  Hard luck to the lads who battled all the way and never gave up until the final whistle.  This team have done the club proud throughout the year with their success and please God we can make more progress in 2016.  Finally, we would like to wish St. Brigid's the best of luck in the next round of the competition.

The next round of the U-21 competition for the Naomh Fionnbarra/O'Connells combination is the Quarter Final against the Newtown Blues on this Wednesday 11th November at the Blues pitch in Newtownstalaban at 8pm.

There are only a few more upcoming fixtures this year for supporters and players alike, so please come along and support our teams if you can make it.  For more fixtures details please see local press, Louth and Proud website and the Louth GAA website.

The 2015 Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. A.G.M. to plan for 2016 will take place on Monday 23rd November.  Venue and time to be confirmed.
