It was Hunterstown Rovers who got the scoring underway in the Group B encounter. Niall Carrie and Glen Mathews registered Hunterstowns first 2 points of the game in the opening 2 mins, followed by a Tony McKenna free in the 7th minute, giving Rovers a 3 point lead in 7 minutes.  Naomh Malachi quickly drew with Rovers when they converted a penalty in the 10th minute. Naomh Malachi took the lead over the next few minutes scoring an additional 2 points. There was some great teamwork and passing  from, Tony McKenna, Brendan Lennon, Alan Landy, Ryan Ward and Glen Mahtews, before offloading the ball to Paul Carrie who secured Hunterstowns 1st goal of the match. Followed immediately by an Alan Landy point and Glen Mathews' 2nd point of the match. It was once again Paul Carrie who broke through Naomh Malachi's defence with a brilliant pass to Keith Brennan who finished with a superbly executed goal, before half-time.

Naomh Malachi got the scoring underway securing 2 points in the opening 3 minutes. Padraig Mathews registered Rovers first point of the 2nd half, closely followed by a Tony McKenna point. Paul Carrie registered his 2nd point of the the match in the 46th minute, followed quickly by 2 quick Ryan Ward points, which again was immediately followed by another Paul Carrie goal and point. With Padraig Mathews getting Hunterstown's last point before full time.
