Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Annes Club Notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 15th July.  The winning numbers were 7, 13, 14, 18. There was 1 match 3 winner James Butterly, Duddestown, Togher who won €150.  Next weeks draw takes place on Wednesday 22nd July and the jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to  €3,400.   Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

On Monday 13th July the Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-18 team beat Clogherhead Dreadnots 2-12(18) to 2-8(14) in Division 3 League Round 6 at Pairc Mhuire, Dunleer.  Well done lads.

On Wednesday 15th July the Naomh Fionnbarra U-13 team beat Dowdallshill 9-14(41) to 4-3(15) in Division 4 League Round 2 at John Markey Park.  Well done lads.

On Friday 17th July the Naomh Fionnbarra Junior team had a good win over Roche Emmets 2-7(13) to 0-12(12) in the 1st Round of the Louth Junior Championship at Dowdallshill.  This send the lads through to the quarter finals and leaves the team in a strong position in the group.  Well done lads.

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. are hosting a Kellogs GAA Cúl Camp for the first time ever this year at John Markey Park between 27-31st July.  Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camps provide boys and girls - between the ages of 6 and 13 - with an action-packed and fun-filled week of activity during the summer holidays which revolves around maximising enjoyment and sustaining participant involvement in Gaelic Games.  Cost for your first child is €55, second child €45 and third/fourth child €40.  For more information please contact Brian Og Corr 087-7712478 or Francis McMullen 087-3741984, or please visit http://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.

Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies G.F.C. are holding Church Gate Collections on the weekend of Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August.

The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the families of Maureen Harmon, The Hill, Togher Road and Breda Geraghty Kilsaran who passed away recently.
