Hunterstown Rovers club news

July 14, 2015

This Friday's  jackpot is €5,500 in 48 numbers or less. With a prize fund of over €8,000 on the night. The place to be this Friday is the Ardee Parish Centre at 8pm, all welcome. We paid out €980 on our 'Winner takes all flyer' last Friday night.

We are still taking names for the 150 club, with the first draw taking place on Friday 31st of July. Details of the draw can be got from ant committee member, on our Facebook page, on our poster on the pitch or in the Hunterstown Inn or by contacting Dessie on 087-6811945. This fundraiser is being run in conjunction with our 75th anniversary, 1941-2016, and the proceeds of this going towards the installation of new floodlights and viewing stand, with the names of all subscribers going on a wall plaque on our new stand. Work on the floodlights is to begin in August.

There was no winner of the lotto, next week's jackpot is €10,000. The €20 winners were: Corkie Byrne, Peter Rogers, Mary O'Connor, Elaine Devlin and John Nulty.

Well done to all our juvenile players and mentors on your endeavor and hard work. It is paying off with some great excellent displays and team performances of late, it is now up to our Intermediate team to step up to the mark in the upcoming championship with games against Naomh Malachi and St. Josephs in the group stages over the next few weekends, best of luck lads. Anyone with local or club news can get in contact with Anita on 0861559090.

Hunterstown Rovers would like to express our sincere sympathies to the family and friends of the late Betty Crosbie.
