Westerns continue to set the pace in Division 3 after they comfortably defeated Cuchulainn Gaels on Saturday night in Omeath on a scoreline of 1-19 to 0-6.
The Reaghstown side were never in danger of being on the wrong end of a shock result as the dominated from the opening whistle on their way to a sixth straight win of the season.

Stabannon Parnells recorded the surprise of the round when they scored a 2-10 to 1-11 at home to a Glen Emmets side who were missing a number of players and are currently without a manager.
Stabannon got the perfect start as David Cluskey found the net in the first minute but the Emmets hit back with a goal from a James Butler penalty. However, Parnells finished on top and led by 1-7 to 1-4 at half time.
The game was in the balance in the early stages of the second half before an Aidan Shevlin goal gave his side breathing space and saw them hold out for an important win.
Lannleire maintained their pursuit of the leading teams in Division 3 following a hard fought but well earned victory 1-9 to 1-5 over Nh Malachi in Dunleer.

The Mals fought well in the second half but Lannleire were always on top and sealed victory when Colm Murphy landed his sixth point of the game late on.
St Kevins recorded a fourth victory of the campaign to remain in contention at the top after accounting for the Nicks on a 2-17 to 2-4 scoreline.
The game in Philipstown saw the home side get on top from the early stages and a goal from Cian Callan had the Kevins leading by 1-10 to 0-2 at half time.
Aidan Craven extended the lead with a second goal but the Nicks finished with a flourish and added two late goals from the boot of Roy Kierans.
John Mitchels picked up a second win of the season when they defeated Wolfe Tones by 3-10 to 0-12 at Ballybailie.
The first half saw the Mitchels well on top and their efforts were rewarded with a 0-7 to 0-2 advantage at the break.
The Tones picked it up after the break and hit ten points with good contributions from Martin Smith and Jamie McCormack but it wasn't enough as goals from Stephen Coyle, Mickey Nulty and Ben O'Brien gave the home side victory.
