Dundalk Young Irelands are holding our annual Table Quiz in McGeoughs Bar, Roden Place this coming Friday (5th December) starting at 9pm. A table of 4 costs just €30. This will be a fun-filled night for our members and friends as we test our general knowledge and have a couple of pints and a bit of craic.

Dundalk Young Irelands held our AGM last week in a packed meeting room. A summary of the night is attached. The outcome of this is that we are looking for a new Secretary to take over from me as I cannot commit enough time to the role due to work and other committments. However, I will be taking an active role as Assistant Secretary and will take as much of the work load as I can. Anybody who is interested in the role or who knows somebody who is please let me or any other member of the Committee know. We are also looking for a Child Protection Officer. This is an important role to ensure that we have a proper structure and dedicated person to deal with any potential issues that may arise with our juvenile members and teams.

The GAA National Club Draw tickets are currently on sale priced at €10 each and the prizes are top class, including trips to next years All-Star match (this year it was in New York). Tickets are available from Donal Duffy (0863342280) and all members are asked to take a book of tickets and sell them. The club really needs this income.
