St Marys and St Josephs will meet on Sunday morning to decide who will take on Cooley Kickhams for the right to play in Division 1 next season.
The Ardee side came out on top against Roche Emmets on Friday night, while on Sunday morning the Joes eased past Young Irelands.
St Marys booked their place in the Division 2 promotion play-off final with a comfortable 2-12 to 0-10 win away to Roche Emmets.
In a game played in very testing conditions, the Ardee side did most of the damage in the first half when they built up a 12-point advantage when they had the elements in their backs.
Once again it was Darren Clarke and Ronan Carroll who led the way in terms of scoring as both found the net to see their side lead by 2-10 to 0-4 at the break.
Roche had the better of the second half and with the help of scores from Kevin Callaghan they reduced the gap but couldn't produce the goal they needed to seriously challenge the lead and it was St Marys who held out to keep alive their hopes of playing in Division 1 next year.
The Joes had little difficulty in accounting for Young Irelands as they came out on top by 3-12 to 2-6 in Darver on Sunday morning.
The Joes had the better of the opening exchanges and with Craig Doherty and Alan Quigley among the scorers, they led by 0-6 to 0-2, but a Dean Maguire goal gave his side hope.
The Joes finished the half on top and a goal from Alan Quigley sent his side in leading by 1-9 to 1-2 at half time.
The Dundalk men started well in the second half but their hopes faded when Kevin Keelan received a black card. The Joes took full advantage with a goal from Mark Neary and although Jordan O'Donoghue pulled a goal back, Ben Mulligan wrapped up the win by hitting the net late on.
