SEAN O'MAHONYS 1-9
ST BRIDES 0-9

A first half goal from Stephen Fisher helped Sean O'Mahonys make it through to the semi-final of the Intermediate Championship.

The game at Clan na Gael Park on Friday night was close throughout, but the Brides failure to add to their score in the second half proved crucial as the O'Mahonys held out to book a meeting with St Josephs in the last four.

The Knockbridge men had the better of the first half and their lead of 0-9 to 0-6 in the closing stages would have been greater had they availed of all their chances.

The game turned in the O'Mahonys favour when Fisher found the net to send his team in level at the break.

The second half wasn't one for the purists but with some good defending and the scoring threat of Conor Finnegan, the O'Mahonys kicked the only three points to secure their passage.
