Knockbridge have claimed passage to yet another county senior hurling championship final.
The villagers booked their place in the September 14th decider with a game to spare as they defeated surprise packets St Fechins by 1-16 to 1-12 in their third round-robin outing at Clan na Gael Park last Saturday.
With a record of three wins from three, they are guaranteed involvement on county final day.
Holders Pearse Og will probably provide opposition in what would be a repeat of the 2013 decider.
As things stand, Pearse Og lie in second place on the table, with five points from a possible six, having drawn with St Fechins. They will do battle with Knockbridge this weekend in the final series of round-robin matches and a win or a draw would see them through.
In fact, even defeat could prove enough for the holders...
The only way they can get eliminated is if they were to suffer a heavy defeat, while St Fechins also defeated Naomh Moninne by a landslide in the other game. At present, Pearse Og have a 31-point superior scoring difference over the Termonfeckin men, so it'll take quite a turnaround to send them out.
