This weekend sees the knockout stage of the Louth football championships commence with all four JFC quarter-finals taking place.

The matches will form two double-headers at Stabannon and the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday and Sunday evenings respectively.

Naomh Fionnbarra and Westerns open the action in Stabannon on Saturday evening (5:30) followed by the derby meeting of John Mitchels and Sean McDermotts (7:00).

At the county grounds on Sunday, Glen Emmets lock horns with Lannleire in the curtain-raiser (5:30) and perennial competition favourites Oliver Plunketts (who are riding high in Division Two!) face-off against St Kevins in the fourth quarter-final of the weekend. Tweet
