The O'Raghallaighs Carrickdale Hotel Senior Football Championship commenced on Thursday evening last at home against Newtown Blues. A one sided match unfortunately for the O'Raghallaighs as the Blues showed their superiorty on every area of the field. Disapointing result for us with a loss and final score of 0-8 to 0-16, depsite this defeat we will come back stronger against Dundalk Gaels in our next match where a win will be our priority. Our U13 squad put on a great performance on Saturday evening with a superb win against Glen Emmets away. The O'Raghallaighs led from start to finish with some excellent passing and points from play. Glen Emmets fought all the way to the final whistle which showed great spirit and determinatoin with great football being played from both teams. Final Score 3-6 to 2-6.
