There was no joy for the local sides in today's Pairc na hEireann Lory Meagher Cup double-header.

Louth scored a 3-14 to 2-10 win over Warwickshire having led by 1-8 to 1-6 at the change of ends.

Meanwhile, in the second game, Leitrim got the better of Lancashire on a scoreline of 2-18 to 2-10.

The Connacht outfit led by 0-9 to 1-4 at the halfway stage and second-half goals from Padraig O'Donnell and Gavin O'Hagan sealed the victory.
