Ratoath (Meath) 1-20 Rosenallis (Laois) 1-16
(After extra-time)
Ratoath struck another blow for Meath hurling when they defeated Rosenallis after extra-time in Ratoath today to qualify for the Leinster club JHC final against Kilkenny's Mooncoin.
Despite missing a penalty and having a goal disallowed in normal time, the hosts out-lasted their Laois opponents to end their hopes of a Leinster junior football and hurling double. Ratoath scored a late point to leave the sides level on 0-16 to 1-13 at the end of the 60 minutes before clinching victory with a last-gasp goal in extra-time.
