Two crucial contests took place tonight in the 2015 national hurling league.
In Division 1A, Cork welcomed Munster rivals Clare to Pairc Ui Rinn for what was a must-win encounter for both counties following their opening-round defeats to Kilkenny and Galway respectively last weekend.
And Fraher Field was the venue for the Division 1B meeting of Waterford and Laois, with both these sides also seeking their first win of the campaign. The O'Moore County suffered a narrow home defeat to Offaly last Saturday, while Na Deise managed a draw on the road against Limerick.
As it's a five-round league, there really was no more room for error for any of these four teams.
