Former Laois manager Padraig Clancy will manage Ballyroan-Abbey for the 2015 campaign.
Clancy had been linked with a number of clubs over the winter, but he was opted to guide the fortunes of the senior side this year.
It is Clancy's first managerial appointment away from his own club Timahoe, but he is sure to get the best out of his new side throughout the year.
Clancy's appointment means that they are only three senior football clubs in the county that have yet to appoint their management teams for the coming year and they are defending champions Portlaoise, Stradbally and Mountmellick.
