Award winners named
October 29, 2014The Laois GAA Award winners for 2014 have been announced.
Portlaoise forward Paul Cahillane and Rathdowney-Errill's Joe Fitzpatrick have been named the Footballer and Hurler of the Year respectively.
Both were in outstanding form as they helped their clubs to their respective county titles and are now planning for the Leinster club campaigns.
In intermediate football, Ballyfin captain James Finn took the honours, while Ballinakill's James Walsh takes the Senior B hurling award.
Packie Cuddy from Camross was named the Junior A hurler of the Year award and The Harps' Colm Dunphy was honoured with the Junior B award.
