Rathdowney-Errill 1-20
Camross 0-10

Teenager Mark Kavanagh bagged 1-5 as Rathdowney-Errill overwhelmed holders Camross at O'Moore Park this evening to lift the Bob O'Keeffe Cup for the fifth time since 2006.

Conor Gleeson's charges never looked back after the 17-year-old's first half goal gave them a 1-6 to 0-5 lead. Up until then, there had been little between the sides, with Dean Delaney's point bringing Camross level on 0-5 apiece.

But the black and ambers never quiet recovered from Kavanagh's crucial strike as Rathdowney-Errill went on to hold a 1-10 to 0-7 lead at the interval.

The winners' semi-final replay win over Abbeyleix clearly stood to them in a one-sided second half which was decorated by some fine scores from Kavanagh and top-scorer Ross King.
