The replay of the All-Ireland hurling final means that Antrim's Paul Shiels is likely to be overtaken in the hurling top scorer chart, but will it be a Tipperary or Kilkenny man that does it?

Shiels advantage has been cut to a solitary point, as his tally of 1-64 (67) is just better than that of Tipperary's Seamus Callanan on 7-45 (66).

TJ Reid's haul of 1-8 yesterday puts him right into the reckoning as he has 4-48 (60).

With 7-16 Callanan is the leading scorer from play, 12-points clear of Wexford's Conor McDonald.

The Tipperary ace has seven goals to his name, making him the leading goalscorer in championship 2014. Wexford's Conor McDonald has five majors, with PJ O'Connell (Antrim), Shane Dowling (Limerick), Derek McNicholas (Westmeath) and TJ Reid (Kilkenny) on four each.

The highest individual scoring feat in the championship so far is Pat Horgan's 2-11 against Clare and Callanan's 3-8 v Galway.

The highest average score belongs to Limerick's Shane Dowling with 12.0 points per game, which is  better than Callanan's 11.0.
