Rathdowney-Errill are through to the last four of the SHC and crowned Division 1 league champions all in the one game.

The former champions defeated their fierce rivals Clough-Ballacolla in round 2 of their SHC clash which also doubled up as the league final.

Three points was all that separated the sides at the end of a pulsating contest and Rathdowney can now look forward to a semi final on September 14th.

Clough-Ballacolla are still not out of the championship and they now prepare for a quarterfinal meeting against Castletown Slieve-Bloom.
