Cork dual star Briege Corkery is undecided over whether to continue her remarkable inter-county career in 2017.
The 17-time All-Ireland ladies football and camogie winner admitted she's contemplating retirement after joining Mayo's Cora Staunton and Mary Jo Curran of Kerry as the only ladies footballer to win 10 All Star awards last night.
In an interview with Newstalk, the dairy farmer said: "I suppose all along with the last however many years, I've always just came away going 'yeah sure I'll play again next year.' This year, for the first year, I'm thinking 'what's going on?'
"It's the first year I've ever thought about it. We'll give a think about it now for another couple of weeks. we'll winter away for another bit and we'll decide after that then."
The 29-year-old is likely to make a call on her inter-county future by January.
"I suppose it's whether you want to put in the hard slog in January, February, March or not. That's the biggest thing, that's the hardest part of the year," the midfielder continued.
"If you can get through that, you'll be grand. I think you have to decide in January whether you're going to miss it or not and that's my thinking on it anyway."
