Cork dual stars Briege Corkery and Rena Buckley have moved a step closer to capturing their 17th All-Ireland senior medals.

The Rebel County's victory over Wexford in Saturday's All-Ireland camogie semi-final has earned them an O'Duffy Cup final showdown with Kilkenny at Croke Park on September 11. This weekend, they will line out alongside fellow dual player Hannah Looney as Cork square up to Cavan in the All-Ireland ladies football quarter-final in Birr. Ephie Fitzgerald's charges are hot favourites to remain on course for a sixth successive Brendan Martin Cup win.

Corkery and Buckley became the first players in GAA history to pocket 16 All-ireland senior medals when they starred for the Rebelettes in their All-Ireland ladies football final victory over Dublin, surpassing Dublin camogie legend Kathleen Mills' haul of 15 All-Ireland medals - a record that had stood for 54 years.
