The 2016 TG4 All Ireland Championship series began with a bang in Clane as Waterford upset the odds to knock highly-rated Armagh out of the competition.
Pat Sullivan's team dominated the proceedings and emerged as deserving winners by 4-13 to 2-13 to record their first victory back in Senior Championship.
"This is a huge stepping stone for us," says captain Sinead Ryan who now looks forward to taking on Munster rivals Kerry next for a place in the Quarter-finals against Monaghan.
