Three changes for Dubs ahead of their semi- final clash with Cork

 

Dublin have announced their starting 15 for this Saturday's eagerly awaited semi-final clash with Cork in what will be a repeat of the last two TG4 senior All Ireland finals.  

 

Greg McGonigle will welcome the return of four times All Star Sinead Goldrick to his back line following Goldricks recent absence from NFL action due to a recurring hamstring injury. Up front Nicole Owens starts on the half forward line having been introduced as a second half sub in the previously NFL match versus Galway. Foxrock Cabinteely's Amy Ring makes a welcome return to the starting 15 linking up on the full forward line with the St Sylvester's duo of Niamh McEvoy and Sinead Aherne. The inform Aherne kicked an impressive 1-08 against the Tribeswomen finishing that game as Dublin's top scorer.

 

Dublin management have also made a few positional switches to their line out following their six point loss to Willie Wards, Galway. Niamh Collins returns to the Dublin defence after a spell at centre forward with Olwen Carey switching from half back to her regular corner back berth.  Team captain, Noelle Healy resumes her midfield partnership with Amy Connolly while proficient forward Lyndsey Davey reverts to her favourite spot on the Dub's half forward line having lined out in the corner forward position versus Galway.

 

The winner of the Dublin / Cork semi-final will play either Mayo or Kerry in the Lidl Ladies NFL on May 7th.
