Mayo players were in emotional mood after beating Tyrone in the TG4 All Ireland Championship at Ballinamore, Co Leitrim, on August 1st.

Some of the players were from the same Castlebar club as teenager Melissa Patterson who died tragically in a road accident during the week.</p>

'The Castlebar manager told us this morning that Melissa would have wanted us to play', says Mayo captain Fiona McHale.
