Galway have reported a clean bill of health ahead of Sunday week's All-Ireland SHC final.

Apart from Conor Cooney, who had a foot operation in April and hasn't featured in the championship campaign, manager Anthony Cunningham will have a full hand to choose from for the showdown with Kilkenny.

"Conor is back training with us. He's probably short on game time," Cunningham is quoted in the Irish Sun.

"He has a metatarsal break in January. And it re-fractured after he came back. He had to get a pin in the second time. And then he had some other injuries because he was out and it affected his leg and hip as well."

The St. Thomas' clubman was relieved to see Conor Whelan, Cathal Mannion and Jason Flynn come through last Saturday's All-Ireland U21HC semi-final defeat to Limerick unscathed.

"They're fine. They're disappointed, everyone is. We trained since. It's also good to get a reality check after a big win," he added.
