Ronan Burke will make his first start of the season for Galway in Sunday's Walsh Cup semi-final against Carlow.
The Turloughmore man is part of three changes to the side that had 12-points to spare over Offaly last weekend. Johnny Coen and James Regan also come in with Darragh O'Donoghue, Eanna Burke and Jason Flynn dropping out.
