Holders Ballyboden St. Enda's and St. Jude's have joined Kilmacud Crokes and O'Toole's in the semi-finals of the Dublin SHC.
At O'Toole Park yesterday, a Finn McGarry point with five minutes remaining saw 'Boden edge out Cuala on a 0-15 to 0-14 scoreline. With county star Paul Ryan in fine scoring form, the winners had led by double-scores, 0-12 to 0-6, at the break, but were left hanging on for the win after Cuala stormed back with a flurry of scores from Barry Connolly, Paul Butler, Cian Waldron and Sean Moran in the second period.
In the opening game at O'Toole Park, St. Jude's took advantage of the early dismissal of Faugh's Pat Robinson to run out emphatic 0-21 to 0-7 winners.
On Friday night, Kilmacud Crokes defeated 14-man St. Vincent's by 2-15 to 0-12, with Ryan O'Dwyer and Ross O'Carroll scoring the goals for the in-form Stillorgan side, while a late Christy Mulligan goal sealed a 1-20 to 0-13 victory for O'Toole's over Lucan Sarsfields.
