Cratloe remain firmly on course for a Clare SHC and SFC double after their hurlers defeated Clarecastle by 4-15 to 1-19 this evening to set up a Canon Hamilton Cup decider with Crusheen.

A brace of Conor McGrath goals helped Joe McGrath's side to a 2-11 to 1-8 interval lead, with Steven Moran netting in between for the Magpies. On the restart, Bobby Duggan hit some excellent scores to leave just two points in it, but Cratloe pulled away again with goals from Podge Collins and McGrath, who completed his hat-trick.

Cratloe will go in search of a place in the SFC final when they face Cooraclare next weekend.
