Cavan's Paul Brady is the World Handball Champion again, after he beat Killian Carroll of Cork in Calgary, Canada today to win a fifth consecutive Open Singles title.
Fresh from his 21-12 21-6 semi-final defeat of Team Ireland captain Robbie McCarthy, Brady continued where he left off with a stunning 21-8 21-2 victory over Carroll.
Meanwhile, in the Women's Open Singles final, Antrim's Aisling Reilly successfully retained her crown against Cathriona Casey of Cork following a tie break.
