Plenty of action for hurling fans

December 12, 2008
Any hurling supporter that feels that they have gone too long without a game has the choice of four this weekend with a couple of finals to be decided. On Saturday afternoon, the intermediate hurling league final sees Abbeyknockmoy and Cappataggle compete for the Cup at Ballinasloe at 2pm. Also on the same day is the meeting of Liam Mellows and Meelick-Eyrecourt in the J.C Shield final at Mullagh. Then on Sunday, the semi finals of the under-21 B hurling championship take place as Portumna face Padraig Pearses at Ballinasloe and Killimor play Moycullen at Athenry.
