With both winning well and scoring heavily today it should be a good game.

Both should have designs on really challenging Dublin in a Leinster final. . .there's certainly a growing impression that Dublin are not as strong as last year while both Meath and Kildare have made huge improvements.

Should be a good game. Kildare are motoring nicely and Meath appear to be going in the right direction too. I think Kildare are a little further ahead of us at this stage. Their defence seems more secure than ours so I think they should be favourites.

Meath 04/06/2017 17:10 An Mhí v Call Dara Saturday week. Anyone know the venue yet?
It's live on sky I believe.

Kildare seemed to have been on fire today, although they'll probably make 14 changes for the next day....

I agree. Carlow's tactics oddly worked.Although I realise they bet out the gate the last twenty minutes and a lot of that may have come down to the sending off of Murphy otherwise I think they might have been within 6-7 by full time but what I mean is ...if that was kildare or Meath playing there yesterday with those same possession behind their own half and little burst tactics they may have had more of chance right into the end of the game.

It was very very effective for a team that should have absolutely no right to be withing three points of the AI champions on paper.

For the first time in a long time I think Kildare or Meath have the capacity maybe just maybe to pull off a shock in the early days of the championship. Although I emphasise heavily on maybe...but they should defo be thinking of winning not damage limitation.

I telling you, Kildare are coming on strong, I think they'd run us close enough in the LF, two good wins for both them and the royal today!

Just back from it. If there was ever the case for an A and B championship this match was it.

Meath and Kildare are on the rise again. I expect them to real contenders in Leinster next year and have a chance for Sam in the next few years, bit there still is a lot of room for improvement and work to do. Both teams had a good league campaign with Kildare gaining promotion, sadly this match is in Croke Park where I expect there won't be a great atmosphere, it should be played in O'Morre Park, Tullamore or even Nolan Park where there win be a great atmosphere. Should be good game of attacking Football. Can't wait for it. Going for a Kildare win though.
Kildare 1+

I'm not saying your wrong but what evidence are you basing this on that Meath and Kildare are on the rise and will challenge for Sam in the coming years?

Should be a good game and great atmosphere two counties and teams that don't like each other, I'm going for a Meath win.

Kildare will rightly be favs for this game, promotion etc. Sure we will turn up and complete the fixture, :) but its Kildare to lose

Really looking forward to this game and delighted that it will be in Tullamore, It should be a cracking atmosphere on the Saturday night, Meath are obviously flying, i dont think i have ever heard of 27 points in football before and Kildare were motoring well today also, With Kildares two 1st choice corner forwards out, Meath slight favourites, but we could still scrape it as the backup on the bench looked quite good today.

Hold there a minute. Last week you were telling us that Louth were the biggest threat to Meath in Leinster outside the Dubs. Now your telling us that Kildare are favs to beat meath? Make up your mind RD.
