Many many years ago, work and a young lady took me to the seaside in Meath, I fell in love with many things there, including the local gaa club and continue that love affair to this very day, this weekend my beloved St colmciles club take on Westport of Mayo in the intermediate club all ire final. I will be in croker to cheer on the cilles. Best wishes to Ben Graham Noel and everyone involved. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 14/02/2017 15:47:58 1956707 Link 0 |

Are you heading up waynol? Who ever thought we would be shouting for same team in all ire final ? :) For such a small rural club this is huge. And while Graham Reilly is the obvious player and those outside Meath would know, this team is so much more than one man, I have never seen such a tight unit , they will give it all, we are underdog , but by Jesus we have some bite. Come on the cilles royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 14/02/2017 19:46:26 1956801 Link 0 |

Dubs supporting a Meath club because they are more worried about Mayo(and lee Keegan) than anything else lol. What a strange gaa world we live in! Good luck Westport

Seen St Colmcilles play against Pomeroy in the AI Semi Final. Very impressive first half but they will need to improve to beat Westport. They let a big lead slip that day and could have easily lost that game. TakeyourPoint. (Tyrone) - Posts: 133 - 14/02/2017 20:44:31 1956833 Link 0 |
Everyone on here knows I live in Meath, They (Cilles) would be the local club where I live. I wont exactly be broken hearted if they don't, But itd be great if they did, but that's why I want them to win anyway, The fact they are playing a Mayo club makes no odds. Infact Westport losing cause of Lee Keegan or the fact they are a Mayo club didn't even cross my mind until I read tis post. What a strange, and indeed, paranoid world we, or should I say, you, live in though all the same Spoddy!!

Waynol like many of dubs live outside Dublin, he lives in the parish of the cilles club, are you seriously suggesting he should not cheer on his friends and neighbours in a club game?

I agree they fell asleep in second half but then fought back to win it.
