Then they should allow Mayo complete their pre match warm up in the Hill 16 end on Saturday evening. PortInFaithful (Offaly) - Posts: 472 - 26/09/2016 17:20:35 1919369 Link 0 |
Assuming you're not just fishing. . . Why? Do Mayo want to? Have they said as much? I take it you think Mayo should be allowed to because Dublin were allowed to last Sunday week. If that's the case should the GAA also be fair to supporters and ban any fans who were at the last game to allow 82000 others the chance to attend an All-Ireland final? cavanman47 (Cavan) - Posts: 4977 - 26/09/2016 17:25:59 1919373 Link 0 |
Explain please?

No problem with that. Speaking of 'fairness', the way the tickets have been distributed they will easily outnumber the Dubs there anyway and should have about 55K in the ground I would say. I haven't heard any whinging from a Mayo senator this week so the tickets must be plentiful in Ballina. Somebody just needs to show her where the ground is in Castlebar now. Did they not follow the Dublin bus on its way to the stadium?

Is there some unfair advantage gained by warming up at the Hill end? Or is it just because they do we want to? arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4892 - 26/09/2016 18:53:10 1919407 Link 0 |

With all them advantages it's a wonder we don't win the All Ireland every year. I mean showing the Mayo bus must be worth, what, five or six points at least. As for the contribution from some retired american footballer sure money couldn't buy that. Split Mayo in two quick I say, before they get any more advantages and actually win an All Ireland.

I suppose they could play the replay in Castlebar seen as Dublin had home advantage for the first game?

It can't be the Home Ground, but can be in the same county. Replay should take place in Partry. It's only fair.

Haha they did their best to make it feel like it was in castlebar the last day. They would have to build a terrace by Saturday then to accomadate all these standing supporters ue klnow have hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 27/09/2016 09:48:41 1919529 Link 0 |
It's a bit sad that you spent your day focussing on these things.

feic it, you're right. I think Inisturk pitch would be the best - huge terrace space http://www.northernsound.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Inishturk-GAA.jpg BlastCalyle (Mayo) - Posts: 206 - 27/09/2016 10:31:11 1919549 Link 1 |

Instead of Hill 16, we'd have 16 Hills. I would play the replay there in a heartbeat. Imagine the atmosphere, it would be like a Roman Arena.

Yeah but you were clearly totting them up to justify your poor me attitude.
