Kerry v Kildare

Who are the favourites to make the final and who's the favourite to win it outright?

Bookmakers agreed to cease laying bets on under-18 sport in Ireland so the answer to your question is that there are no favourites.

How does he or anyone know?

Kildare beat Meath in Navan who beat Dublin by a big margin so this must be a serious Kildare side.

Wont be a kick of the ball in it , similarly expect tomorrow's game to be very close

Donegal's backwards, sideways constant handpassing basketball tactics are awful in this first half and counter-productive. Galway are just turning over possession, getting quick ball in and picking their scores. Dreadful stuff from Donegal.

Galway lierally throwing the game away......................23. The amount of times so far a Galway player hand passed the ball straight to a Donegal player. When straight through on goal just tap the ball over the bar for a point and Galway would win easy. But no them seen determined to through it away.

You must be watching a different game than me, Galway are playing a strong blanket defense, great stuff from Donegal and great experience for these lads for the future win or lose,
where is your team today Ulsterman? you're not very proud of your county obviously when you won't even name your county,if you are from Ulster at all.

Good display by Galway. They will be a tough final opponent for Kerry or Kildare.

What was all the hype about Donegal???

The more naturally talented/gifted side won the game. Donegal lacked the natural football ability that the Galway team possessed (as I expected). Our kick passing was superb and we were just so comfortable with the football. Decision making at times left a lot to be desired but you'd forgive 17/18 year olds in Croker.

Well done Galway.

Someone sud tell Donegal that they are allowed kick the ball...some really good football from Galway. The 2nd galway goal summed up the difference between the teams-gud long direct ball n set it up.

That was a really impressive performance and but for a few stray hand passes would have scored another 2/3 goals against a much lauded Donegal team. I think it's fair to say whoever wins next week is very much up against it.

Why would they ever want to get rid of this minor football great skill and speed shown by both teams great scores Galway should have won by more but typical donegal just like their seniors when they did played direct football towards the end they looked good.

Well done to our neighbours Galway 4 points winners but really 8+ points the better team. Donegal just didn't live up to panamasam high expectations and clearly underrated Galway.

Great win for Galway. Should have won by more really. Must have blown about 4 great goal chances. Some excellent forwards and managed to win with their best player, Evan Murphy, carrying a knock for most of the game after getting a belt in the first half. He wasn't moving very well after but the rest of them took up the slack.

Is that Ulster-Scots you are rambling in?

There's nothing worse than a bad winner, well done to Galway and good luck in the final,

@Ulsterman
sorry there Ulsterman I see you say you are from Antrim, I understand now why you don't like Donegal after us beating you year in year out.

well played galway. I think we could learn a lot from your direct ball into the forwards. The money was in the bank early in the 2nd half. Hard luck to our lads. They did their best but it was not enough unfortunately for us.

I have to agree Donegal played no balls into danger areas - playing side to side and backwards - in saying that I have to say Galway were a much better footballing side - they played the ball into their danger man a lot #14 and he did a lot of damage - their 2 corner forwards very classy also. They tried to walk the ball into net a few times and should have scored more.

Well done Galway and hard luck to our boys. Was impressed with Galways strong defensive set up and the intensity that they tackled with. Seemed like we had to work twice as hard for our scores with our forwards given very little room. Defensively we were too open at the back but Galway gave a great display of accurate kick passing into their forward line as well. Our boys gave everything and that's all we can ask. We have a couple of very talented players in this minor team, will be looking forward to seeing them in a senior jersey soon. Best of luck to Galway in the final.
