What are the young guns to watch for 2016? Any one have any suggestions

There is a young fella from Clare I cant think of his name he captained there Minor team last year, he played U21 and Senior, one of the most naturally talented players I have seen of right and left foot with some engine seen him play against Dublin minors in a challenge at UCD, cant think of his name just a pity he is with Clare as will probably not get the success he deserves for a talented player.

Surely Kerry will have a few

Donegal have 13 Under 21 players in the panel .
Those who have a massive future include : Stephen McBrearty ( half forward / midfield )
Ciaran Thomson ( midfield / half forward )
Eoghan Gallagher ( wing back )
Michael Carroll .

Not worried about our future .

Ultan Harney(Roscommon) is an absolute beast and only just gone 20 years of age. Played a small bit last year but got his jaw broken after coming on against London and and missed the Sligo game due to it. Was our man of match in both games he started last year against Cavan and Fermanagh and I expect us to build our team around his this year and into the future. In Connacht club semi final he was best player on the pitch and it took three Castlebar defenders to try manage him, IMO the best u21 player in the country

Im sure Kerry will have a few from minor winning teams

Why would o Callaghan play with the hurlers , he is a better footballer than hurler.

I don't know why he himself would choose to play with the hurlers. I'm not speaking for him. I said I would have liked to see him stay with the hurlers - because we could do with a player of his quality.

I think Lee Brennan will make a big impact for Tyrone this year. A big star of the future.

For Tyrone, David Mulgrew made his debut last Sunday against Derry, and was very impressive. Mulgrew played in the 2013 AI minor final as a 15 year old, so this might be a year or two too soon for him. Still, his movement, workrate, distribution, pace, awareness and overall confidence on the ball was exceptional for someone so young, and he has all the physical tools you'd want in a playmaker for the future.

Strokestown trio Sean Mullooly,Cathal Compton,Thomas Corcoran has been introduced to our senior panel this year, all three have been excellent for our U21,Minor teams the last few years and if they make the step to senior we will have 3 big additions for the year or years ahead.

Yes Cathal Compton is an excellent prospect. Stephen Mcmenamin in Donegal one to watch for the future and maybe not this year but down the line Andrew Mclean is a player to watch. Seen him play in the Donegal U-21 football final last weekend and he looked like a rolls royce of a player in similar mould to his club mate Ryan Mchugh.
