Castlebar v Crossmaglen
Clonmel v Portlaoise/Ballyboden

It'll be a Castlebar/Ballyboden final. Crossmaglen are not the force they were, the current team are a very overrated side. Cargin and Scotstown could and probably should have beaten them and either Castlebar or Ballyboden WILL beat them as they are better footballing sides. If the referee doesn't let them away with their antics they are very beatable.

Portlaoise have a great chance to beat BBSE. Seriously strong inside forward line and a couple of honest clubmen around the centre of the park. This time of year doesn't always favour the best team on paper as previous games have told. Clonmel caught Nemo on the hop in bad conditions. Looking forward to the Sundays final.

aw poor mr partitionist, did the big bad cross boys beat you'se. I'd say what you know about the GAA you could write on the back of a stamp (and not the ones you buy with your majesty on them)

My initial assessment is as usual. Cross will pound any of these other pretend clubs. They should stick to tidy towns if they want to win the All-Ireland.

Question some one from Kerry might be able to answer. St. Mary's play Rataoth in the Intermediate football semi in the new year and it got me thinking....With them winning the Kerry intermediate championship, I presume they now go up to the Senior champ - does this mean their players will be ineligible for the South Kerry team?

Yeah no one from St.Marys will be allowed play for South Kerry next year as they are now a senior club.

Yes, Clonmel play Tir Conall Gaels in London,
Terrific to see Clonmel win a Munster club title,
Their boss Charlie Mc Geever makes a very positive impression,
Gives good interviews in English and Irish,
Heard he was superb at both gaelic football and soccer before injury struck.

Would BBSE be worth a punt this weekend? 4/7 shot

Very entertaining game. Portlaoise the better footballing side, Ballyboden getting away with a lot of pulling and dragging. The baldy fella for Portlsoise is a cracking player. Both teams are far superior footballers than Crossmaglen who will use every dirty, cynical tactic going in the semi final; a strong referee will be required.

That was very cruel on Portlaoise, they were the far better footballing side but they kicked it away at the end themselves. Ballyboden are a tough, physical side. I would bet there won't be 30 players on the pitch at the end when they play the Rangers team.

Have to say standard of football very good considering conditions, how did portlaoise lose that game total dominant in second half missing easy points and hitting post when 1 on 1 with keeper, but credit to ballyboden for hanging in there and nicking it, can't see them winning it tho cross would beat them handy.
As it stands do cross play castlebar?

Boden a bit of a surprise package in this year's club Championship. Most would've had them behind OPER, Ballymun and Vinnies in Dublin.

Fair play to them though, they've put in some cracking performances thus far.

Not sure how I'd rank the 4 remaining sides. Castlebar and Cross probably the best 2 left but Boden and Clonmel will be no pushovers.

Would have had Boden behind Crokes in Dublin too I should have added.

Very good game. Club football probaly more enjoyable to watch then the robotic County football. Awful miss by Cahillane to level it.
