P McMahon - 1 match ban

That should draw a line under everything.

*runs for cover*

You would have hoped so but now appears the Dubs are going to appeal the ban. This appeals culture is getting out of hand. What ever happened to a lad doing the crime then doing the time. One league match is surely no big deal. At the end of the day surely the player should recognise that pawing an opponent in the face is dangerous play (and sets a bad example to kids etc) and that a one match ban is a fair punishment.

Which he's appealing.... I'd say it'll be a while before the line is drawn under anything!

Right decision a one match ban. Dublin should really not appeal- but they have the right.

Ok let's get the appeal in quick and clear this innocent man.

Any room for extending bans on the grounds of frivolous appeals? They do it in other sports.

1 match ban is an absolute joke to start with. What exactly are they going to appeal?

Don't think such a rule exists, hence why there are so many appeals.

Should be brought in for next year imo.

1 match ban for gouging is laughable. It should be at lease 3 months of championship football. Terrible behaviour from McMahon as usual.

Don't know what theyre appealing, I'd take the 1 match ban for that anytime. Are they trying to be smart, and get off on a technicality again? (for the 3rd time) waste of money, which would be far better off invested in underage Dublin gaa.

Ah sure he plays on the edge, that should be basis enough to get the 1 match ban removed on the 4th appeal.

I can't turn on the radio without listening to mcmahon being interviewed, he has some neck after his conduct in recent games, i think i'd be keeping my head down out of shame.
1 match ban is an absolute joke. Again i ask what has happened Jim Gavin's core values and principles? They've some neck appealing.

Donaghy's face/eyes were all over Philly's hand, ban should be reversed :)

Hughhunt, there was no Dublin or Tyrone player involved, therefore he's not that type of player and it was all just an accident of sorts.

This is what your up against on this island , the man is mainly on the radio raising awareness for his area and trying to get people to sponsor his charities for Ballymun but God love you you can only drag out a negative for a young man doing a positive thing.
