I was very impressed with Galway yesterday and have been from a long way back. Was this performance a flash in the pan or are we about to see a Galway team who can finally win an All-Ireland. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 27/07/2015 09:40:19 1759474 Link 0 |
I'm not a hurling man, but surely the amount of wides that Galway hit yesterday would be a concern? Especially given that you'd expect Tipp to give a lot less time on the sliotar than Cork did yesterday. Gleebo (Mayo) - Posts: 2208 - 27/07/2015 09:51:35 1759482 Link 0 |
Do you mean they don't, or now use not, turn up in Thurles? westisthebest (Galway) - Posts: 444 - 27/07/2015 09:55:00 1759483 Link 0 |
I think they will beat Tipp and Kilkenny will beat Waterford. slayer (Limerick) - Posts: 6480 - 27/07/2015 09:56:26 1759484 Link 0 |
Would love to see them win it. A Galway v Waterford final would be noval and great for the game. Sadly can't see Waterford beating Kilkenny but Galway can beat Tipp. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11227 - 27/07/2015 10:10:10 1759494 Link 0 |
A win for either Galway or Waterford or better both would be just brilliant for hurling. If they beat tipP then they have every chance of beating KK. The one thing I would be still worried about for Galway is the speed of their hurling. The speed and intensity of KK and Tipp stickwork is what seperates them from the rest IMO ZUL10 (Clare) - Posts: 693 - 27/07/2015 10:39:49 1759521 Link 0 |

I definitely think they can anyway and I'm not talking f**king bullsh*t! sportsfan14 (USA) - Posts: 281 - 27/07/2015 11:08:12 1759546 Link 0 |
They certainly can (and probably will) beat Tipp. I'd love to see them in a final as you would have to believe all that promise and all that potential would be finally realised. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4895 - 27/07/2015 11:11:58 1759550 Link 0 |
What kind of a question is this? cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 27/07/2015 11:14:54 1759554 Link 0 |
As a certain Galway hurler might say 'its a bullsh*t question' Barnowl94 (Galway) - Posts: 3150 - 27/07/2015 11:42:57 1759579 Link 0 |
We definitely CAN win it, but its a tall order really. Even if we beat Tipp well have to beat the cats then. joncarter (Galway) - Posts: 2692 - 27/07/2015 11:51:02 1759588 Link 0 |

Ha wildpundit,im fully awake now.My answer is yes.Absolutely.Yesterdays performance, added to the destruction of Dublin makes the Galway v Tipp semi final a 50/50 for me.I wudnt be too sure Kilkenny will beat Waterford either.I see J Tyrell is out.Would be a big loss.Ill be at both semi finals and final,so three great games to look forward to and discuss.Final answer - YES. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 27/07/2015 13:13:14 1759659 Link 0 |

Yes they most certainly can, Cork were abysmal but Galway are well capable of beating Tipperary (as Tipp are capable of beating Galway). I fancy Galway to get to September. Illusionist (Cork) - Posts: 79 - 27/07/2015 14:35:05 1759732 Link 0 |

Galway served due notice yesterday that they have the team to beat Tipp and get to the All Ireland where it's likely that will face Kilkenny in my opinion. carlowman (Carlow) - Posts: 1820 - 27/07/2015 18:38:41 1759957 Link 0 |
