Anybody know anything about the above yet, was on there website but its the same one as last year with all the rules etc..... It does however give you the option of registering a team but no point in doing that until this years rules are known, anybody shed any light on same.

All the fixtures on it are for this year, so is the deadline for submitting the teams. To me it looks like it's running again

Yeah looks like its up again but the county panels are the same, some retired players are still there and new players aren't. The fixtures are updated. I contacted them but didn't get a response

This is my 4th year playing and it's serious crack.. All our club lads play and we pay €20 in with the winner taking €100.. We got a set of tips for the club from it last year.. It's really well run, has all the players and is a serous addition to the GAA season.. Ps I won out league last year!!

The scoring system could be improved a bit, players are only awarded points on a clean sheet, goals, points, appearances and man of the match awards. It's very biased towards defenders who attack a lot. They could add in points for blocks per game etc in the next few years. Purely because of the score system I went with Karl Lacey, Lee Keegan and Emmett Bolten in my full back line because they tend to get forward

For defenders is a clean sheet considered no goals conceded by the team?

Or keeping their man scoreless regardless of what the team concedes?

It's not a bad game but it's similar to the 6 Nations game in that there's no player values. Would make it a lot more interesting if there was a budget and premium players were top price and you could find some bargain wing back free-takers.

I got caught out last year, not badly because I did crap anyway, by making a few transfers then trying to do more with my balance if transfers left. It wouldn't let me. I e-mailed them and they said all transfers in a gameweek (?) have to be done in one go. Maybe that's changed?

Id imagine its for team not con conceded any goals.
It would be impossible to judge who kept their markers scoreless as three donegal players probably mark an opposition forward each -)

Yeah a clean sheet is considered when the opposition doesnt score any goals. They should really improve the scoring system for defenders with blocks, tackles etc
