Which is a better helmet?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Lads just said i'd start this cooper's or mycro's? Was a cooper man myself but got new mycro lately and must say most comfortable helmet i've ever worn. Mycro have come along way from the bucket's a few years back.

Did those Coopers not fail all the safety tests back in Canada?

The new Mycros are pretty good, anyone remember their old ones hat looked like flower pots?

JuanVeron. The older cooper and gola helmets did fail tests alright but there are new junior coopers out that meet all the safety requirments. No senior version yet for the big heads! But that should be on the market by December.

The new Mycro is the finest helmet produced to date. Will wait and see what the new Cooper is like but no doubt the fashion conscious will be paying the extra quids for them!!!

The auld square mycros were some job, kamikaze pilots would have survived if they had them.

mycro are the best by far they are superior to the cooper

I had a cooper for years, but no face guard. Always imagine a face guard would have restricted my vision, and I already let in enough soft goals.

Cooper with a KK faceguard. A classic.

Its a long, long time since you let in any goals Patrique. Pucking about with the gasun doesn't count

im not claiming to be an expert but i am of the understanding that the bigger the helmet the better. A friend of mine has a big purple one. Not sure if its a mycro or not but he reckons people have told him its the best one they've seen

Have to agree with mrwingforward, cooper with a Kilkenny faceguard is the only job

No slayer, but he did let me hold it once and i was surprised how heavy it was. He reckons he plays with this helmet all the time and he even lets others play with it sometimes as long as they promise to be gentle and careful not to damage it
