Dublin v Laois (Hurling)

(Oldest Posts First)

Laois head for the capital on Saturday looking to keep their season alive against Ger Cunningham's Dublin side. Can the O'Moore men upset the odds or will the Dubs keep things to script here?

This thread will be used to discuss the game at Parnell Park.

In spite of Cunningham Dublin will have too much for Laois.

Keeps Cunningham as manager for another little bit until the inevitable defeat gets rid of him.

Laois are minus about 8 players who are some of the best the county has had in recent times.

You never know Dublin are a little fragile at the moment but they should come away with at least 10 points to spare given the game in Parnell Park.

If we persist with the tactics we have used in previous games, then it will be a very close game. Laois would be a good value bet I'd say. We're going nowhere at the moment unfortunately.

Big weekend for Dublin hurling (as indeed for Laois), delighted the game is in Parnell park - Dublin hurlers always play well there, expecting a close tight game. And with Minors on Sun vs Kilkenny in Croke park another good game.
